During installation, you may see the error: 27502. Could not connect to MySQL ‘localhost’:
This means that one or more MySQL components did not install correctly. For example, when installing MySQL using the Spark installer, there is an option where it asks you to enter your username and password. This is blank by default and should be left blank, but the user may try to enter some information.
To solve this issue:
· Reinstall the Administrator only. If this does not work:
· Uninstall all MySQL components from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
· Reinstall MySQL using the files found in the included Pre-requisites Folder.
