1. License activation issue: When activating, updating options, or if running as a trial the following message will appear if the activator cannot connect to the security server:




First, make sure user has an internet connection. Then, make sure a valid network adapter is selected in the Spark Activator - Network field.


If they are using a Proxy server to connect to the internet, they will not be able to connect. Spark must have a direct connection. If the customer has no internet access at all then they can activate manually. A Site Code will appear for you to enter into iKey.




If you cannot get the manual activation option in the Spark activator to appear, disable all network adapters to ensure no internet connection is possible. Under "Network and Sharing Center,” select “Change adapter settings.” Then, right click and select “Disable” on each connection available.
